Shelley Jones brings nearly two decades of local government experience to her role as Director of Corporate Strategy and Resourcing at Wingecarribee Shire Council.  Her passion lies in organisational strategy, employee engagement, and leading positive change.

Bolstered by a Bachelor of Business and graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Shelley boasts a strong record of driving strategic transformation in rural and regional council settings. Her expertise includes implementing major organisational redesigns that optimise alignment between strategy, resource allocation, and desired outcomes.

As an executive leader in two amalgamated councils, Shelley possesses first hand experience navigating complex mergers and leading through crisis situations. Notably, she served in a leadership role during the council's response to the devastating 2019-2020 Black Summer bushfires, demonstrating her ability to bridge the gap between staff and community during challenging times.

Shelley is committed to working collaboratively with the Wingecarribee Shire Council team to make a lasting positive impact on the Wingecarribee community.

  • Integrated Risk Coordinator

    Coordinate Council meetings including the preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes
