An opportunity to develop your skills and capabilities for general office duties specific to a department while studying toward a Certificate III in Business Administration at TAFE.
Gain frontline experience as part of our OOSH team while attending formal training with TAFE toward your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Each year, a number of positions are offered within our traineeship program to applicants who identify as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island background. Exemption granted under section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
Council can open doors to cadetships in areas such as engineering, planning and library services if you are studying toward qualifications in these fields.
Our cadetships offer employment for the length of your degree with practical study leave options to help you achieve a balance between your studies and full-time employment. In addition, university tuition fees are paid under Council’s Training and Development Procedure.
