Pressure Sewer System Policy

The Pressure Sewer System Policy was adopted by Council on the 19 June 2024.

The objectives of this policy are to:

  • Provide a framework for the provision of Pressure Sewer Systems (PSS) within Wingecarribee Shire where the use of such system is justified.
  • Detail the circumstances where pressure sewers may be approved by Council.
  • Outline the responsibilities of Council, developers and individual property owners and the associated processes and procedures with respect to planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and ownership of associated infrastructure.
