There are different sources of financial assistance to help you to undertake restoration and rehabilitation work on your property.
These opportunities are dependent on the location of the property and/or the existence of threatened species and the type of work you propose to do.
NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT)
The NSW BCT aims to assist landholders to conserve biodiversity on private land. Conservation grants are available for Land for Wildlife registered properties and properties with a Conservation Agreement through the Conservation Partners Program.

Thickening The Thin Green Line of the Illawarra Escarpment

Grants, training and assistance from the Bush Connect grant program of the NSW Environmental Trust are available to private landholders along the Illawarra Escarpment in the following target areas: Robertson, Mount Murray, Bells Hill, Macquarie Pass, Carrington Falls, and Knights Hill.

Private properties that are adjacent to or within 1km of the Wingecarribee River between the dam wall at Glenquarry and the confluence with the Wollondilly River are eligible for funding for projects to control willows, fence the river from stock and to plant native plants.
