Lake Alexandra Reserve, Mittagong
Lake Alexandra is a man made lake which started life as a dam supplying water for engines hauling coal to the Fitzroy iron mines. It is a popular multi-use park offering a variety of recreation activities including bush walks.
Parklands and a cycleway surround the lake, which is frequented by aquatic birdlife including ducks and geese, as well as turtles.
Barbecue facilities, shelter sheds, fantastic picnic and a children's play area are available at the park. There is also a Liberty swing, with a key required for access.
Lake Alexandra Reserve is a popular location for weddings and ceremonies to take place.
All gardens, parks and reserves are available for hire free of charge for formal ceremonies, except Corbett Gardens in Bowral during dedicated events and garden maintenance.

Children's play area, Shade Sail, Liberty swing, MLAK Disabled toilet and toilet facilities, picnic areas, water bubbler, duck pond, walking trail, exercise equipment, Tennis Courts (Bluebirds Tennis Club).
