Construction works will involve road shoulder widening, upgrading the road surface, installing curve and reflective pavement markers and upgrading the Sunninghill Avenue and Osbourne Street T-intersection.
Construction will be undertaken in stages to minimise disruption.
Stage one of construction will involve the resurfacing of a 500 metre section of Eridge Park Road starting 10 January.
During construction, sections of the road may be temporarily reduced to one-way traffic. The road will however remain open to through traffic with access to private properties maintained.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Council thanks residents and motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
Road works are expected to be completed by late August 2022.
