Essential Pruning of Mature Pin Oak Tree in Bowral to Ensure Safety and Longevity

This coming Thursday Council will be carrying out important tree pruning works on the mature Pin Oak tree on the corner of Bendooley St & Wingecarribee St in Bowral.

Works Details:

Location: Corner of Bendooley St & Wingecarribee St in Bowral

Date: Thursday 15 August 2024

Time: From 6pm for approximately 4-5 hours

Please note a large crane will be operating at the intersection, necessitating road closures, diversions, and traffic management.

This work is part of our regular tree care program to keep our community safe and to ensure the tree remains healthy.

The tree will be trimmed back to reduce its weight and shape. While we aim to follow standard pruning guidelines, our arborist may need to make adjustments to ensure the tree’s long-term health.
