Ever wondered about worm farming? Like to have a go at hot composting? How could you benefit from becoming a bit more waste-wise? Get involved in our free waste workshops for International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW), 7 to 13 May, to get started with composting, for better soil, a better life and future. Find events here www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/events-directory/
Take part in any one of our three waste education workshops and you’ll receive a $20 voucher to use on products from the Compost Revolution program, making it easier for Australians to build greener, healthier, more resilient communities by inspiring them to nurture their soil to grow their own nutritious and delicious organic food.
Plus you’ll go in the draw to win one of 25 compost bins.
“It’s worth taking full advantage of having these workshops available locally.” says local resident Yvonne Rubin (pictured). “I grew up on a farm and have always endeavoured to give back to nature. These initiatives to promote modern composting and sophisticated creation of worm farms are such a valuable community asset,”
