Wingecarribee Shire Council is pleased to announce the completion of a new elevated footpath on Eridge Park Road. This improved pedestrian access as part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safer and more connected community.
Karin Targa, Wingecarribee Shire Council's Director of Project Delivery, shared, "The new elevated walkway connecting Eridge Park Road and Old South Road significantly improves pedestrian access in the area."
The footpath now extends from Charlotte Street, behind Chevalier College all the way to Old South Road, where pedestrians can cross over to East Bowral via the refuge island.
Funded by the Council and the NSW State Government's Get NSW Active program, Karin noted, "The state government’s support has been crucial in bringing this project to fruition, enabling us to fulfil our commitment to enhancing pedestrian access across our shire."
