Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that pre-construction activities are set to commence on Eridge Park Road in Burradoo from Monday 15 November 2021.

The works will involve Council staff and contractors undertaking onsite surveys and service location works.

The inspections are the final component of the Design Phase of the multi-million Eridge Park Road Improvement Project starting January 2022.

From January numerous improvements will be incorporated along a three kilometre section of the road between Moss Vale and Kangaloon Roads including upgrading the road surface and roadside shoulders, installing curve and reflective pavement markers and upgrading the Sunninghill Avenue and Osbourne Street T-intersection.

Cost of the Eridge Park Road Improvement Project is estimated at $3.44 million and has been jointly funded by the Federal and State Governments under the Safer Roads Program.

Whilst Council is undertaking the improvement project, Transport for NSW maintains responsibility for the road’s speed limits.

Council reminds motorists to slow down and be aware of workers in the area from Monday 15 November as they finalise the pre-construction investigations.
