Council Hosts Local Contractor Procurement Workshop

Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting local contractors to attend a dedicated workshop designed to enhance understanding and engagement in the local government procurement process. 

The Local Contractor Procurement Workshop will take place on Thursday 28 November 2024, from 5.30pm to 7pm, at the Council Chambers, Civic Centre, 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale. 

This event will provide an opportunity for local businesses to gain valuable insights into Council’s procurement journey and engage in collaborative discussions aimed at improving practices. Key topics include:

• A recap of the May 2024 Procurement Workshop. 

• Updates on Wingecarribee Shire Council’s procurement progress. 

• Strategies for meaningful communication channels with local vendors. 

Participants will also be encouraged to provide feedback during the session to better understand the need of local businesses.
