Wingecarribee Shire Council is committed to working with you to build a better future for our community. That's why we offer a variety of ways for residents to get involved and have your say on important projects, policies, and plans. Council’s online engagement platform, Participate Wingecarribee, is your opportunity to provide feedback and access information about current items on public exhibition, community consultation projects as well as the Council’s current plans and strategies.

There are currently several opportunities for you to share your ideas and get involved – help shape projects and services that are important to you for your local town or village. Through surveys, submissions, and discussions, you can directly influence local projects and services.

Current community consultation opportunities include:

  • Plan of Management for Natural Areas: Help us manage our beautiful natural areas! Provide your feedback through an online survey on the Participate Wingecarribee Plan of Management for Natural Areas or you can register to attend Council’s Public Hearing Event on Thursday 6 June, from 5.00 pm - 6.00 pm held in the Theatrette at Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Civic Centre.
  • Yerrinbool Public Toilet Facility: Help shape the design for the new Yerrinbool Public Toilet! This facility will be constructed at M.F. Vickers Memorial Park in Everest Street, Yerrinbool. Two in-person consultation sessions will be held on Thursday 6 June, from 10.00 am - 11.00 am and 5.00 pm - 6.00 pm. Council representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments about the design of the facility. An online survey is also currently available for community feedback on the Participate Wingecarribee Yerrinbool Public Toilet page until Thursday 30 May.
