Wingecarribee Shire Council will open a Flood Recovery Hub and Flood Hotline from Friday 11 March to assist Highlands residents affected by flood waters.
The Flood Recovery Hub will be located on the ground floor of Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre and will be staffed during normal business hours.
Staff from Community Links Wellbeing will also be in attendance on Friday March 11 from 11am to 1pm with arrangements being finalised to include other local recovery agencies.
A Flood Recovery Hotline can also be accessed during general business hours on 1800 316 500.
Both services will offer local recovery support, advice and connections.
Council’s General Manager Lisa Miscamble urged flood-affected residents to take advantage of the services.
“I encourage any residents who have been flood-affected to make contact with us by visiting the Recovery Hub or calling the Hotline so we can assist you,” she said.
Council will provide further updates and additional information about support available at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au.
