Draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan on exhibition

Wingecarribee Shire Council is asking residents to view and provide comment on its draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022–2026 which goes on public exhibition from Wednesday 27 April 2022.
Council’s Director Corporate Strategy and Resourcing, Ms Carmel Foster, explained the purpose of the draft plan.
“Developed in consultation with the community, the plan represents Council’s commitment to people with disability and our actions for improving access and inclusion,” she said.
“It outlines our plans over the course of the next four years, designed to remove barriers and make our Shire an even more inclusive destination and place to live,” Ms Foster continued.
The draft plan will be on exhibition until Wednesday 25 May and can be viewed online at yoursaywingecarribee.com.au/disability-inclusion-action-plan.
Hard copies of the document are also available for viewing at Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre and Council libraries.

All feedback and submissions must be received by 4.30 pm on Wednesday 25 May 2022.
Following the close of the exhibition period, all responses will be considered and included in a final report to be presented to Council.
