Honouring Our Fallen Heroes This Anzac Day

Wingecarribee Shire Council encourages residents and visitors to join us in commemorating Anzac Day on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Let's pay tribute to the courageous Australians who fought for our nation and freedom worldwide.

Throughout the Shire, a series of events have been planned to ensure a respectful and meaningful observance of Anzac Day. From dawn services to marches and ceremonies, there are several ways for our community to participate and pay their respects.

We invite everyone in the community to take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women, so that we may continue to enjoy our freedom. Let's come together in gratitude, honouring their bravery and selflessness.

Moss Vale:

• 10.30am gather for March along Argyle Street to Cenotaph at RSL
• 11.00am Main service & wreath laying

Hill Top:

• Hill Top Memorial Hall - 102 Wilson Dr, Hill Top NSW 2575
• 6.00am Dawn service & wreath laying

Colo Vale:

• Community Hall - 28 Railway Ave, Colo Vale NSW 2575
• 8.00am Service & wreath laying

Bowral:

• 5:30am March from Westpac Bank on Bong Bong St
• Dawn Service commences at 6 am
• 10:00am A parade begins forming up in Coles Car Park near the Boolway St Roundabout with move off at 10.35 am down Boolway St then Right at traffic lights down Bong Bong St to the War Memorial
• March commences at 10.35 am
• Service commences at 11 am
• The Bowral Services are held at the Bowral War Memorial Park
