Wingecarribee Shire Council Appoints New Director Service and Project Delivery

Wingecarribee Shire Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Clinton McAlister to the role of Director Service and Project Delivery, following a rigorous recruitment process.

Mr. McAlister brings a wealth of experience in local government, including electrical networks, emergency management, and project management. His strong background positions him well to oversee the Council’s extensive portfolio, encompassing asset management, shire presentation, roads, infrastructure, building and open spaces maintenance, project delivery, and water services.

Currently serving as the Manager of Waste Services at Wingecarribee Shire Council, Mr. McAlister has also recently held the acting role of Director Communities and Place. He will officially commence his new role on 19 August, 2024.

Council extends its sincere thanks to Karin Targa for her valuable contributions during her tenure as Director Service and Project Delivery. Her dedication and hard work have been instrumental in achieving the Council’s goals. Ms. Targa has accepted the position of Manager of Project Delivery within the organisation, allowing her to continue to contribute her expertise.

The recruitment panel comprised industry experts, including, including Lisa Miscamble, General Manager Wingecarribee Shire Council, Ricky Tozer, Manager People and Culture Wingecarribee Shire Council and Hamish McNulty, as the independent.
