“Our outdoor pools offer the perfect environment for a refreshing escape from the hot weather,” said James.
“With brand new electric barbecues at both Bundanoon and Bowral, and plenty of grassy shaded areas, simply pack your picnic blanket and barbecue essentials, and settle in for a day of family-fun.
“Our friendly team of lifeguards are there to ensure everyone stays safe and has a great time. We remind all visitors that we follow the Royal Lifesaving Keep Watch at Public Pools guidelines and supervision of children by parents and guardians is essential. Remember to stay sun safe and keep hydrated,” he said.
Throughout the season, keep your eyes out for fun family events and activities, including inflatable days, at Bowral Pool.
In February, Bowral and Bundanoon Swimming Centre's host school swimming carnivals, reducing public availability. Check the carnival timetable at each centre or on the council website for lane availability.
