Athletes Awarded Prestigious Illawarra Academy of Sport Scholarships

A group of talented young athletes from the Wingecarribee region have been recognised for their exceptional sporting abilities and awarded prestigious scholarships from the Illawarra Academy of Sport (IAS). 

The 16 scholarship recipients were officially recognised at a ceremony held on Wednesday 27 November.  

The IAS, a non-profit organisation, is dedicated to nurturing young talent in the Illawarra region. 

These promising athletes will now have access to world-class training and development programs, including athletic skills development and personal leadership training. The scholarships will provide them with invaluable opportunities to reach their full potential and pursue their sporting dreams. 

We congratulate these athletes on their well-deserved achievement and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.
