The King’s Foundation Australia launched last week with a vision to preserve heritage and promote sustainable communities. Their first major initiative is the restoration of the historic Hillview Estate in Sutton Forest.

This historic property, once a vice-regal summer residence, will be transformed into a vibrant cultural and educational hub.

Inspired by the successful regeneration of Dumfries House in Scotland, Hillview Estate will offer a range of programs and experiences, including:

  • Heritage Crafts Workshops: Learn traditional skills such as woodworking, textiles, and metalwork.

  • Cultural Exhibitions: Explore the rich history and heritage of the region.

  • Community Events: Participate in festivals, markets, and other community gatherings.

  • Guided Tours: Discover the stunning architecture and beautiful gardens of the estate.

The King’s Foundation Australia is committed to preserving the heritage of Hillview Estate while creating a sustainable future for the property. By investing in education, culture, and community, the Foundation aims to inspire and engage people of all ages.
