Atrium Exhibition Series
Welcome to the Atrium: Council's Gateway to Art & Culture!
The Civic Centre Atrium is a vibrant space dedicated to showcasing the incredible talent of our local artists and fostering a deeper connection with art and culture in our community.
Throughout the year, like a chameleon, the Atrium adopts diverse and varied patterns and colours, to provide captivating, fresh exhibitions each month. The monthly themes explore a diverse range of social concerns and themes, often aligning with significant calendar events like:
- NAIDOC Week: Celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- International Day of People with Disability: Raising awareness, promoting inclusion and celebrating the contributions of people with disabilities within the creative arts.
- Youth Week: Highlighting the talents, ideas and achievements of our young people.
- Seniors Festival: Offering a program of events focusing on keeping seniors healthy, active and social.
And much more...
