Anzac and Muriel Vickers Memorial Park

Old Hume Highway, Yerrinbool 2575

This small park in Yerrinbool features a memorial stone with a bronze plaque set into a sandstone boulder with flag pole behind and surrounded with native trees. The memorial is dedicated to Australian service men and women of conflicts including the Boer War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Malaysian and Borneo conflicts, and Vietnam War.

Berrima River Reserve

Berrima River Reserve is located adjacent to Wingecarribee River on Oxley Street, Berrima and including camping facilities.The campgrounds are a five minute walk from the historic Berrima Village. The reserve offers a range of facilities including children's play areas, public toilets, cold showers, barbecue areas, picnic tables, structures for shade and shelter, bushwalking, and fishing.

Bong Bong Common, Burradoo

Bong Bong Common is a historic site that now features an accessible pathway, cycleway, seating, walking, and scenic riverfront settings. In 2023, the Common was upgraded to include new playspace areas, improved car parking, and features to highlight the site's significance to both Aboriginal and European histories.

Garland Road Reserve (Glow Worm Glen Track)

One of the great evening activities for Highlanders is a trip down to Glow Worm Glen at Garland Road Reserve. With a bit of care you can ensure to see a great light show while minimising impact on these luminescent locals. A good idea is to start the walk down to the glen at sunset so it's dark by time you arrive.

Mansfield Reserve

Mansfield Reserve is a koala sanctuary and contains the headwaters of Mittagong Creek, which flows through Bowral to the confluence with Wingecarribee River This beautiful reserve contains Southern Highlands Shale Forest and Woodland, powerful owls and other forest owls, and scenic bushwalks on mown trails. It is an important location for passive recreation and an active Bushcare site.

Mount Gibraltar Heritage Reserve

Mount Gibraltar is an iconic landmark of special significance and is also the highest point between Sydney and Canberra. Mount Gibraltar Heritage Reserve was listed on the State Heritage Register by the NSW Heritage Council in December 2013.
