Sports Fields

As of May 2023, community members can book many of Council's facilities online, including halls and sports grounds.

Applications for hire must be made by persons over 18 years of age. The person on-site to manage your event (if different to the applicant) must also be over 18 years of age. 

Council requires all hirers to be registered and logged in before making a booking. Depending on your customer type, your registration may need to be verified by Council and require supporting evidence (e.g. proof of commercial or not-for-profit status).

The person making an online booking request is the "hirer" and is responsible for the booking and payment of fees.

Sports field list 

Council regularly assesses the status of the sportsfields using our tiered system below: 

Closed - No playing or training on sportsfield/ground.

Caution - Council does not recommend using the sportsfield/ground. Users (Clubs/Teams) can inspect sportsfield/ground and make decision if they will play or train on them in their current condition.

Open - Sportsfield/ground is open. Any playing or training can occur. Users (Clubs/Teams) still need to assess the condition of the sportsfield/ground prior to any use.

The status information for each sports field is assessed and updated regularly and reflects the current status of the field.
