Overview

There are three Council swimming pools across the Wingecarribee Shire offering the community opportunities for fun, fitness, and recreation.

Bowral and Bundanoon Pools are seasonal outdoor pools that are only open through the summer months. Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is an indoor venue and is open all year. Pool facilities differ between venues and detailed information on what each pool has to offer can be found on the individual pool pages.

Admission costs for the 2024-2025 pool season available in our brochure below.

Visit a Council pool to cool off, relax, enjoy water play, swim laps, attend an aqua fitness class, learn to swim, improve your stroke, or join a swimming club.

Bowral and Bundanoon pools are managed by Wingecarribee Shire Council, while Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is managed by Bluefit Pty Ltd.

All Wingecarribee Shire Council swimming pools adhere to the Royal Lifesaving Society’s Keep Watch at Public Pools program to ensure the safety of all children and non-swimmers.

Opening hours and contact details

Outdoor swimming centres remain open until their advertised closing times unless weather is not conducive to swimming, at which times pool supervisors may close the pools early.

The admission costs can be found in this Season's Swimming Pool Brochure - coming soon.

On inclement days or where temperatures fall below 18 degrees, one of the swimming centres will be closed from 9 am. Signage at pool entrances will provide details of any open pools.

Please check with your local pool for availability during school hours as our pools are heavily used for school activities including swimming carnivals.

During times of elevated bushfire risk, some pools may be closed in accordance with Council’s Closure of Public Facilities Due to Bushfire Risk procedure.
