Serendipity: the Choir

IMG-1359

Serendipity: the Choir is a Southern Highlands community choir, founded in 2008. We are based in the beautiful village of Bundanoon, from where approximately one-third of our singers come. Others travel from various locations to be part of this dynamic ensemble.

Enjoyment is the prime reason for the choir’s existence: enjoyment by the singers of the repertoire selected for each ‘themed’ concert, and listening enjoyment for our audiences. To achieve this seemingly simple goal requires much hard work and dedication by the choristers as we aim for choral excellence. The choir’s repertoire embraces choral works from many centuries, from medieval to contemporary, with and without accompaniment, and in styles ranging from ‘classical’ through folk, popular, jazz, madrigal and sacred.

Our rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
