The Southern Highlands Quilters' Guild (SHQG) meets at the Moss Vale Community Centre, Queen Street, on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. On the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month we meet at the Mittagong RSL. The times are from 10am to 3pm. We are a friendly group and welcome new members.

We organise workshops regularly to extend and hone skills. Some sewing experience would be helpful but not essential. Some of the members knit and crochet as well. We have a busy 'Quilts For Others' section which donates quilts to The Palliative Care Unit at Bowral District Hospital and Harbison Care.

The Guild is looking forward to introducing some interesting workshops in 2024. Sarah Fielke, who is an international tutor, is coming on five occasions to inspire and teach us.  Our members are also offering some interesting workshops eg. tote bag making, a leadlight window panel, the Drunkard's Path and honing skills such as applying a border to a quilt. If you think you would be interested in joining a creative and friendly group of sewers, come along and say 'hello'.

You can also follow us on Facebook to see what we are doing.
