Our trees are in trouble! Join us for a FREE event to explore the threats facing the trees of the Southern Highlands. From pests to diseases, we will delve into the factors contributing to the decline of our tree population.

Meet the Key Speakers:

  • Professor Brett Summerell: Director, Research and Chief Botanist at the Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust, Sydney will talk about Phytophthora and other diseases killing our trees.
  • Charlene Ferguson: Team Leader Tree Management, Wingecarribee Shire Council, who will update participants on council rules regarding the disposal of dead trees.
  • Graham Fifield: Program Specialist, Greening Australia talk about their carbon credit revegetation program offer.
  • Karen Guymer: Coordinator Natural Resource Projects, Wingecarribee Shire Council, who will MC the event and talk about Land for Wildlife Program
