Return and Earn
Aluminium cans can be taken to Return and Earn collection points, along with plastic and glass bottles, for a 10c refund on each item, where they will be recycled. Containers should be empty, uncrushed and unbroken.
Look for the 10c label on the container to see if it is eligible for a refund.
Yellow Recycling Bin
Aluminium cans can also be placed in the council provided recycling bins, with the yellow lid. Aluminium cans are regularly recycled and are commonly re-used in the production of more aluminium products.
