  • Home Composting

Food scraps are great for home composts and worm farms. Check out our home composting(PDF, 2MB) and worm farming(PDF, 5MB) flyers for more information.

If home composting is not an option for you, food scraps should be placed in the council provided general waste bin (red lid). Food scraps can also be brought to the Resource Recovery Centre where they will be placed in the putrescibles bin.
