Hot water units and systems can be dropped off at the Resource Recovery Centre for a fee, which will be discarded as scrap metal. Old Boiler heaters often have asbestos lagging and will be treated as hazardous. For these to be disposed of at the Resource Recovery Centre it must meet several requirements.
