Where to dispose;
Lids from plastic drink bottles, milk bottles, wine bottles, beer bottles and soft drinks CAN be recycled if they are attached to the original bottle (keep lids on).
Lids that are smaller than a credit card CANNOT be placed loose into the recycling bin, as they won’t be picked up by the recycling machinery.
Lids that are larger than a credit card, such as milo lids, some pasta sauce lids and peanut butter lids, CAN be placed in the council provided recycling bin (yellow lid). These lids must be separated from the bottle or container.
