Where to dispose;
Rims can be dropped off at the Resource Recovery Centre free of charge and will be recycled by Sims Metal.
Car, motor cycle and truck tyres without rims can be brought to the Resource Recovery Centre. Tyres with rims will NOT be accepted, but tyres with the rims separated will be accepted. Charges apply.
Tyres are collected by Tyre Cycle. Tyre Cycle recycles tyres into recycled products such as granulation feedstock, Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) and Tyre Derived Aggregate (TDA). Follow this link for more information.
