Sawdust, the waste product from untreated woodworking operations, can be placed in home compost or worm farms. Check out our home composting(PDF, 2MB) and worm farming flyers(PDF, 5MB) for more information.

Sawdust that is from untreated timber can be placed in the council provided green waste bin (green lid). Sawdust from treated timber should be placed in the council provide general waste bin (red led).
