Careers @ Council - Expo

Designed exclusively for young people who are currently in Years 10-12, this event is curated to provide an immersive experience, offering invaluable insights into a wide range of local Council career options, practical training opportunities, and academic pathways available within our community.

At the expo, students will have the unique opportunity to explore an array of future career paths directly affiliated with Council. Through engaging exhibits and interactive workshops, students will be empowered to make informed decisions about their future and embark on a fulfilling career path aligned with their passions and aspirations in our local area.

One of the highlights of the expo is the extensive information provided on various avenues for practical experience, traineeships, cadetships, and work experience opportunities.

Representatives from our esteemed partners, including the local TAFE and University of Wollongong Southern Highlands campus, will be present to provide comprehensive information about the courses, programs, and qualifications specifically tailored to meet the demands of council-related professions.
