Join us this school holidays and learn how to spot a Southern Highlands Koala!

We'll be hosting 2 pop up stall events in conjunction with Southern Highlands Koala Conservation Project for a fun morning exploring our beautiful reserves.

Details:

  • Date: Tuesday 8 October and  Friday 11 October  (Two dates and locations available to choose from)
  • Time: 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
  • Location: Lake Alexandra Reserve (Mittagong) & Mansfield Reserve (Bowral)

What's happening:

  • Learn how to be a koala detective! We'll show you how to spot koala scratches, scat (poo!), and even hear their bellows (loud calls).
  • Grab a map and hit the bushwalking trails to see if you can find any koalas (or their signs!).
  • Join the Koala Club! Get a cool kit with brochures, stickers, and more to help you learn about koalas all year round. (New this year!)

Why you should come:

  • It's a great excuse to get the kids out for some fresh air and exercise in our beautiful reserves during springtime!
  • Learn how to help protect our local koalas population!
  • It's a fun activity for the whole family. ‍‍‍
