Youth Activities 

We are also offering a range of FREE activities proudly funded by the NSW Government. The Spring Holiday Program is funded by the NSW Government Office for Regional Youth. These activities are funded for Youth/Young people aged 12 - 24 years

FREE Learn to Skate Workshops (ages 11+) ** RESCHEDULED DATE **

Come along to the Moss Vale Skate park for some FREE Learn to Skate Workshops! Learn to Skate Beginner Class and Mentoring Skate Session with professional skaters. All equipment supplied. Workshops are for ages 6 years and up.

Wednesday 9 October - 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Please note that due to the cancellation of the previous July holiday program event (due to bad weather), ticket holders from the cancelled event have been given preference to attend this event. As a result, ticket availability is limited.

FREE Introduction to Pump Tracks Workshop (ages 12-24)

Learn more about our new pump track at Casburn Park this school holidays!

Instructors from Dynamic Motivation MTB will provide information about riding pump tracks and share their ride skills with our community.

Friday 4 October:
Session 1 - 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
Session 2 - 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm

You will need to provide your own helmet, safety gear and bike.

FREE First Nations Weaving Course (ages 12-24)

Guided by experienced First Nations artist, Pam Luke, participants will explore the cultural significance of weaving while developing hands-on skills. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with First Nations culture and take home a beautiful, handcrafted piece.

FREE Youth Cooking Classes (ages 12-16 and 14-20)

The Community Cooking School will offer hands-on kitchen fun where young cooks can prepare an easy menu. Young people will make, and eat, their own morning tea and lunch and take home any leftovers to share with loved ones. 

For 14-20 year olds, come along on Tuesday 1 October from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. You'll learn the skills needed to cook delicious, nutritious meals.

For 12-16 year olds, come along on Tuesday 8 October from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. From eerie appetizers to hauntingly delicious desserts, you’ll learn to create dishes that are as tasty as they are spooky, just in time for Halloween!

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of robotics with Snapology of Camden’s Robotics Holiday Course designed especially for teenagers! This hands-on program is perfect for aspiring engineers and tech enthusiasts.

FREE How to find Koalas 101 

Join us this school holidays and learn how to spot a Southern Highlands Koala!

We'll be hosting 2 pop up stall events in conjunction with Southern Highlands Koala Conservation Project for a fun morning exploring our beautiful reserves.
