Come and join us for a tour of Snake Creek Cattle Company.

Snake Creek Cattle Company, located in Mandurama, Central West, and Werai, NSW, is a family-owned operation blending steakhouse traditions with farm-to-table offerings. We have a deep appreciation for country pubs, good music, and the hospitality that defines the Australian experience.

Our breeding herd, a mix of pure Angus cows and Wagyu bulls, grazes on 1400 acres in the stunning Southern Highlands at Werai, NSW. Here, we produce premium 100% grass-fed beef and operate a farm-direct butchery, bakery, and horsemanship clinics in a ranch-style arena. Our dedicated team values community collaboration and strives to maintain high standards of quality.

Our farm’s unique ability to control the quality and supply chain gives us a distinctive edge. We are also focused on regenerative farming and offer agri-tourism experiences. Ultimately, our goal is to unite people—whether around a dinner table or a campfire—celebrating community and sustainability from paddock to plate.

Why is regenerative farming, also referred to as Regen Ag important?

Regen Ag aims to improve the land by introducing practices that promote plant biodiversity, conserves water and increases microbial abundance improving soil health. On a cattle farm this may look like cattle rotation to slow soil compaction, improved water sources and storage, reducing agricultural waste, improved plant biodiversity improving microbial health, and increasing the soil's ability to capture carbon - decreasing greenhouse gas emissions.
