Welby Weir Bird Hide Community Planting Day

Join us for a community planting day at Welby Weir Bird Hide. 

Wingecarribee Shire Council, Southern Highlands Landcare Network and Birdlife Australia needs your help to revegetate the area around the newly constructed Welby Weir Bird Hide.

Come along and help with the planting of over 400+ plants as part of the revegetation work to help restore the area surrounding the new bird hide, provide habitat and food sources for our native birds.

Date: Tuesday 4 March, 2025

Location:  Welby Weir Reserve, Woodlands (Meeting location Old Hume Highway) 

Time: 9.00 am - 12.00 pm

Please remember to pack: a hat, sunscreen, suitable clothing, closed toe shoes, water and BYO refreshments/lunch.
