Youth week stand up comedy workshop with Anthony Lamond

Calling all teens aged 13-18. Join stand up comedian and comedy show producer Anthony Lamond for a three-hour workshop on the art of stand up comedy at this special Youth Week 2023 event.

What will I learn?

• The science of laughter
• Developing a character for the stage
• Sourcing material and writing for yourself
• Stage craft
• Microphone technique
• Shaping, editing and finalising your material
• Producing your own show and building your own audience
• Develop a 2-5 minute comedy routine for your graduation performance

Australian comedian and actor Anthony Lamond is a producer of comedy shows and has shared the stage with high profile comedians such as Dave Hughes, Jimeoin, Arj Barker,Fiona O'Loughlin, Peter Rowsthorn, Cal Wilson, Merrick Watts, Lawrence Mooney, The Old Fella, Chris Franklin, Heath Franklin and Bob Franklin just to name a few.
